1. Who we are

BeastConverter (beastconverter.com) is operated by Make Sense ApS, CVR/VAT DK34352941, registered at Blangstedaardsvej 1, 5220 Odense, Denmark. You can reach us at contact@beastconverter.com or via the contact form.

2. Your files: what we don't collect

Every file conversion in BeastConverter runs entirely inside your browser. The files you upload, convert, or download are never transmitted to any server we operate — they never leave your device. We have no server-side storage of file contents because there is no server involved in the conversion process at all.

3. What we do collect

We collect a small amount of technical data to run the site and the free-tier limit:

Local storage on your device (not sent to us): your language preference, the free-conversion counter and its 15-minute reset window, cookie-consent choice, and Beast Pass status. This stays on your device in your browser's localStorage.
Payment data, if you purchase a Beast Pass: handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your card details.
Advertising data: if ads are enabled, Google AdSense may set cookies and process your IP address for ad delivery and (where you've consented) ad personalization. See section 5.
Basic web server logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, timestamp) — standard for any website, used only for security and uptime, not for tracking individuals.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies/localStorage entries for: (a) remembering your cookie choice, (b) the free-conversion counter, and (c) — if enabled — advertising via Google AdSense. You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and clear your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for beastconverter.com.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Denmark: Datatilsynet)

BeastConverter is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
